LOL - At this very moment (1:25 pm on Sunday, August 1rst) Mabel Penate is probably sweating and rushing around Norma's kitched in preparation for the meeting. Well Mabel, I finished the book last night and now know all about Zala and what "All the Evil" is! Lol! We are waiting for you! Hurry!
I've started book three... wondering is Salander is going to be allright and how she will get herself out of her NEW mess...being accused by her father of attempted murder!
At that time Mabel was breading the chicken! haha... she was probably thinking to herself I dont really know why I am cooking like a madwoman! hahahah.....
ReplyDeleteI have started book three too - how incredible is that Zala might get away with everything that he has done - due to the fact of all the misrepresentation for Salander - and that she is seen as a crazy person!
I am in the part where the Blonde guy is living with the members of the motorcycle club - so I have only read 30 pages or so - I am planning on putting a dent on the reading :)

ReplyDeleteI felt the urge to post - Salander keeps having so many close calls. First, we as readers believe that all the copies of the report are gone - but Blomvkist has made a copy for Armansky - phew! Saved by the bell. Then Teleborian comes knocking and trying to manipulate Salander again and doctor Jonasson proves to be someone she can trust. Unfortunately, Salander feels like she can trust no one. She is even questioning Mikael and says that she is surprised he is still so interested in her case, though she is no longer wanted for the murder of his friends.

It's been difficult for me to read this past week, but I have managed to get to the second part of the book today, and I couldn't agree with you more Nelis.. It's as if she completely cut him off, although understandable to me considering everything she has gone through with her mother and father...
ReplyDeleteI'm still wondering what is gonna come up about her sister, if anything at all, and how in the world Mikael is gonna work this case out for Salander.. So Many Questions!!! This book has such a way of keeping you guessing!! Grr!!
So - I am in the third section of this book and I must say - what does Mikael have that all women want to sleep with him! I am just wondering what the writer was thinking when he felt compelled to have him in some sort of romantic escapade in every book - but every time it is just sex, no relationship - no commitment! nothing!!! I say leave the sex out and focus on the crimes! hahah..... ok back to reading!
ReplyDeleteI am now in the last part of the book - and it is so intense I cannot put it down - how are you ladies feeling about it? I am hoping everything turns out well but there are still a few loose ends! Salander just got into Jail - and she is not talking to the cops - Berger is going to go back to Millenium - I dont know what that side story was developed - I guess to show yet another type of abuse against women - The book has touched on all sorts of crimes and different levels of such crimes against women - from rape to stalker -

I still haven't gotten to the third part yet, but from what I've read so far it seems like Salander might have a few people in her court, so idk.. I'd like to think that she might be able to get out of this bind somehow... and poor Berger, having a boss like that.. I'm guessing she's gonna leave and go back to Millenium.. Dun Dun Dun.. *Must Keep Readinggg* =P
